Proficiency
Proficiencies are the key to harvesting, crafting and producing goods in Archeage. They are certain skills the character can learn and level up to be better at certain craft. The higher the level of the proficiency the less Labor cost and time spent making the items.
Proficiency category limits
There are 3 proficiency categories which are: Harvesting, Crafting and Special. Each proficiency can be leveled by the player but all of the proficiencies cant be maxed out so it balances out the gameplay and lets some players be professionals in some areas than others. The maximum level of Famed can be only 2 from Harvesting, 3 from Crafting and 2 from Special. Everything else can be leveled up to level 10 with Specialization snowflakes mentioned below.
Harvesting
Gathering the materials from the open world or player farms and gardens.
Husbandry
Growing livestock one by one, pens or Ranchers farmhouse. Usual things to do are milk, wool, fresh fertilizer.
Farming
Consists of all kinds of grains and produces.
Fishing
As the name implies, fish. Can be done as sportfishing or fish traps with aquafarms.
Logging
Cutting trees.
Gathering
Gathering all kinds of flowers and herbs.
Mining
Different kind of minerals and metals that can be later turn into items.
Crafting
Crafting the items such as gear pieces, weapons, vehicles, gliders, jewels and so on.
Alchemy
Potions and buffs.
Cooking
Food buffs.
Handicrafts

Certain parts of the vehicles, gliders etc

Regrade scrolls, books, paper, ship designs

Regrade charms, anchoring emblems, runes and dice
