Obsidian Gear

Obsidian gear is easy to craft gear with no RNG required to tier them up. Obsidian gear has unique bonuses on each piece. For armor, these bonuses often makes Obsidian armor the preferred choice.

Tier 1 through 3 weapons can be crafted at the Anvil, while Tier 4 through 6 must be crafted at a Regal Anvil.

Obsidian gear is intend to cater to specific playstyles and encourage build diversity, such as the Obsidian Shortspear and Obsidian Katan which provide healing power and magic attack respectively, in addition to the melee dps.

Starting at Tier 4, Obsidian gear generally branches out in two separate paths. For example, obsidian cloth gear allows the player to choose whether or not they want healer gear with more spirit, or mage gear with more intelligence.
