Introduction
In ArcheAge Classic, progressing through the Main Story Questline (MSQ) is essential for leveling. However, players often find themselves lost when the follow-up quest doesn't appear at the same NPC or area as the previous hand-in. This guide is here to help!
This page outlines commonly confusing spots in the MSQ for each race, and provides direct links to NPCs on the ArcheAge Codex database and images of their location to help you find your way.
General MSQ Tips
If the quest doesn’t appear at the NPC where you turned in the previous one:
- Open your Options → Game Info, scroll to the bottom, and set the Quest Details Map Display slider to Unlimited. This setting allows all available quests to be shown on your world map, which is especially helpful when navigating the MSQ, as follow-up quests are sometimes given by NPCs in a different location.
Chapter 2.1:
- Quest: Innocent Victims
- NPC: Ramusi
- Tip: This quest starts in a different region. You can find it in Tigerspine Mountains along the road connected to Arcum Iris.
Chapter 6.2:
- Quest: A Shadowhawk's Request
- NPC: Ataka
- Tip: This quest starts in a different region. You can find it in Silent Forest - Harani Campsite.
Chapter 6.2:
- Quest: An Old Friend
- NPC: Shavnik
- Tip: This quest starts in a different region. You can find it in Silent Forest - Vedisa.
Chapter 7.1:
- Quest: Your Legend Continues
- NPC: Gleeman Orneon
- Tip: This chapter starts in a different region. You can find the quest in Cinderstone Moore - Burnt Castle Camp (for Nuia Continent) or Ynystere - Bulwark (for Haranya Continent) depending on which faction you are.
