The 8x8 are the smallest kind of land a person can own in the game. Mostly these are new players best friend when finding their first land. There are few kinds of 8x8 designs and the most common one being scarecrows that usually stage packs. Gardens are a safe place to grow plants, raise livestock, and store trade packs without fear of thieves.
Scarecrow Garden
The normal scarecrow design can be acquired from Blue Salt Brotherhood quest when leveling. Each faction has their own map where the questline starts from. As an East player the quest begins at Tigerspine Community Center and for West players the questline begins at Lilyut Hills Community Center. Awesome guidevideo made by Hamilton that explains in a detail how to get it.
Scarecrow garden, once placed, needs to be built with materials. The scarecrow is located in the middle of the plot so it doesn't have as much space as the Full Kit ones.
The Scarecrow Design cant be sold or made into full kit.

Full Kit
When a design has a "Full Kit" in its name it means that the design, once placed on the ground, doesn't need to be built. Usually a buildings need all kinds of materials to be used in order to build it. Only the Full Kits are exception to this. If player decides to demolish the scarecrow the design will remain as a Full Kit to be placed again without building it.
Full Kit: Solar Scarecrow
Solar Scarecrow design can be bought from the Gilda section of the Marketplace with 150 Gilda Stars. The Scarecrow is located on the side of the plot and can be rotated around the plot when placing.
Full Kit: Stellar Scarecrow
Stellar Scarecrow design can be bought from the Merit section of the Marketplace with 150 Merit Badges. The Scarecrow is located on the side of the plot and can be rotated around the plot when placing.
Full Kit: Lunar Scarecrow
Lunar Scarecrow design can be bought from the Loyalty section of the Marketplace with 150 Loyalty Tokens. The Scarecrow is located on the side of the plot and can be rotated around the plot when placing.
