Obsidian Transmuters

Obsidian Transmuters are a new feature introduced in Patch 1.3.5, allowing players to transform one piece of Obsidian Equipment into another of the same slot. This system provides greater flexibility in gear progression and enables players to adjust their equipment to better suit their needs without starting from scratch.

Overview

The Daru, ever the pioneers of mysterious technology, have been experimenting with the nature of Obsidian Equipment. After much research (and an undisclosed number of lab explosions), they have devised a method to reshape these powerful items. However, their work conditions have led to unrest, as the Daru have begun threatening to unionize, refusing to reveal the crafting process until they receive proper compensation—specifically, Gilda-Starry-Stars.

Despite this labor dispute, transmuters have been successfully introduced, and adventurers can begin using them immediately to alter their gear.

Currently, the method to obtain Obsidian Transmuters remains a mystery. The Daru researchers, citing unfair treatment and lack of proper compensation, have refused to disclose the secret of their creation. Players will need to keep an eye out for future discoveries or negotiate with the Daru once their demands are met.
