Starter Pets are categorized as pets that can be bought near stablehands in various community centers around the world of ArcheAge. They are each purchased for 10 silver each and are offered in 3 different variations.

These pets and their skills are listed below.

Sabrefang

The sabrefang can be obtained from Jaun's Ranch in Villanelle. Next to the Stablehand, "Butcher Umei" it is offered in 3 variations; Tabby, Striped and Calico.

	Health Regen	25	Restores x amount of pet's health.
	Reflexes	30	Increases Critical and Evasion Rates of the pet by +30% for 10 sec.
	Strong Claws	35	Increases the Attack of the pet by 40% for 10sec.
	Scratch	40	Attack dealing x Physical Damage, Inflicting a 14sec bleed dealing x damage. Combo Effect: If target is bleeding, Increases the severity of Bleed effect.

Wolfhound

The Wolfhound can be obtained from the Marianople Community Center, "Dawnsliver" and is available in 3 different variations; Black, White and Brown.

	Berserk	30	Pet gains 1000 Attack Speed for 12sec.
	Overrun	35	Pet dashes into an enemy dealing x Physical Damage, Tripping them for 2sec.
	Guard Dog	40	PvE Only Pet taunts an enemy forcing it to attack the pet.

Mini-Miner

The Mini-Miner is obtainable in the Airain Rock Community Center, "Andelph" Next to Engineer Charlotte, It is available in 3 variations; Ruby,

Pet Skills

	Strong Blow	25	Attacks an enemy dealing x Physical Damage. Combo Effect: Bonus damage to bleeding targets.
	Self-Recovery	25	Restores x amount of pet's health over 3sec.
	Engine Overload	30	Increases pet's Ranged, Magic, and Melee Power by +30 and increases Attack Speed by +516 for 10sec.
	Driller	40	Fires a ranged attack dealing x Physical Damage and Slowing its target for 3sec.
	That's MINE!	50	Fires a ranged attack dealing x Magical Damage for 3sec. Triggers "Low Power" debuff preventing all other skills from being used for the duration of the debuff.

Thornboar

The Thornboar is obtainable in the Sunbite Wilds Communal Ranch, it is obtainable in 3 variations; Hedgealope, Leafcrusher and Steelspine.

	Recover Health	25	Recovers x amount of pet's health.
	Crouch	30	Buffs Pet returning 80% of received Physical/Ranged damage for 10sec.
	Kick Up Dirt	35	Ranged attack dealing x Ranged Damage and blinding the target. Blinded target has reduced Magical/Physical/Ranged Accuracy for 3sec.
	Body Slam	50	PvP/PvE Dashes to target dealing x Physical Damage and taunting it.

Black Sabrefang

Different from the normal sabrefang pet, the Black Sabrefang is a pet obtainable in Mirage Isle for 5 Gilda. It is only obtainable in 1 variation.

	Cat StepsCat Steps	25	Increases movement speed of the Caster and Pet by 5% for 60sec. If the Caster is carrying a Trade pack this bonus is increased to 30% increased movement speed.
