Explanation for the most used terms for new players.

Content

X something

Means that someone is making a raid for event and asks other people to join them. In Archeage Classic there is no party search, so players have to resort on addons that do the automatic invitation based on a message in the chat. If someone is making a raid for Red Dragon there will be a lot of X RD messages and by typing it yourself you will get an invite to this raid. Same goes to any other content with X and name of the event or boss. Usually raid leader announces in the nation/faction chat what they are about to do example: X UP CR.

CR

Crimson Rift, a world event that happens many times a day.

GR

Grimghast Rift, a world event that happens many times a day.

MM

Mist Merrow, a PVP map where each nation tries to capture statues and kill enemy nation.

Halcy

Halcyona War is a PVP nation vs nation event.

DS PVP / DS

Is a custom quest named Crystalline Bloodbath made for the server. One of the quests that rewards Activity Tokens.

Comet

Custom nation vs nation content with bunch of quests, Starfall.

Fort

Fortress needs to be secured and the enemy defeated. Quests at Diamond Shores to kill mobs and destroy bunkers.

Purification / Puri

Purification means that the maps that have Purification Towers must be purified. Meaning that the towers must be destroyed with cannons and captured before enemy does. After a tower is purified it will attack enemy nation players and the mobs below it will reward players with cloak upgrading materials.

Lusca / Luscus

Luscas are so called mini-krakens that spawn in the middle of the sea. Each big city has a big portal that ports players closer from where they continue to the water bosses with ships. A quest is given at the portal to kill 5 lusca in order to get quest reward.

Anth

Anthalon is one of the big bosses with good loot. Usually a place for nation v nation battle while fighting the boss.

RD

Red Dragon spawns at Karkasse Ridgelands at certain times. Usually big guilds fight over the boss loot and scales the dragon drops.

Kraken / Primal Kraken

Kraken spawns at the sea where large caliber naval fight take place. Usually biggest guilds to fight against each other for the loot.

Tank

Person who is tanky and goes in as a frontliner.

Healer

Person who keeps the party/ raid alive.

Rezzer

Person who plays away from combat in the backlines and tries to ressurrect other players back in the fight.

Ode Kitten

Usually a player with high grade Greatclub and Full Spirit set having high ticks on the skill called Ode to Recovery.

Timmy

Low gearscore player / new player.

Pugs/ Pug raid

Pick-Up Group, a group consisting of random players usually without voice coms or any organicing.
