This page is a list of common mistakes new players may make and other tips and tricks that may help you out.

Questing

  • When doing the [Quest name of quest where you craft obsidian to get wisp] quest on your story quest line, instead of crafting an illustrious from scratch, find a public armorer house to craft an illustrious weapon at (or just buy the wisp off the auction house)
  • If you lose track of your story quest, open your settings and go to Game Info -> Quest Details Map Display and set it to Unlimited.

Gearing

  • Regrading your own gear is often cheaper than buying it from another player.
